Megan E. Deacon-Casey, M.D.

Dr. Deacon-Casey has been practicing in Jacksonville, Florida since 2003. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went on to complete an internship at Nashville General Hospital and a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida. She completed fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida/Shands, Jacksonville. Dr. Deacon-Casey is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Deacon-Casey’s passion and interests include comprehensive vein care, women’s health, AV dialysis intervention, and male infertility. She has extensive experience with treatment and vascular diagnosis in patients with uterine fibroids and Pelvic Congestion Syndrome.
Dr. Deacon-Casey was the Chief of Interventional Radiology at St. Vincent’s Healthcare, Southside Campus for many years before co-founding Ponte Vedra Vein Institute and Diagnostic Center. She currently practices at outpatient facilities and specializes in vascular disease with minimally invasive treatments.
Dr. Deacon-Casey is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and has over ten years of experience. Her professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Interventional Radiology and American College of Phlebology. Married and the mother of two, Dr. Deacon-Casey enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, tennis, music, singing and an active member of her church.
Shahid M. Nasir, M.D.
Dr. Nasir completed medical school at the University of Florida and his Radiology Residency at the University of Tennessee-Memphis, prior to completing his fellowship at The Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville, and entering private practice.
Dr. Nasir is one of the co-founders of Ponte Vedra Vein Institute. He was the Chief of the Radiology Department at St. Vincent’s Healthcare, Southside campus for many years. He specializes in all aspects of diagnostic imaging and comprehensive vein care.
His professional memberships include the American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the American College of Phlebology. He is passionate about developing business relationships and practice development. Dr. Nasir is board certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology.
Paul L. Vitulli, D.O.
Dr. Vitulli completed his medical training and diagnostic radiology residency in New York. He completed his fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2003. He is CAQ certified.
Dr. Vitulli has spent many years in New York and Florida providing quality care for patients requiring imaging-guided biopsy, vascular access and various forms of endovascular therapy. Special interests include early diagnosis, as well as providing minimally invasive treatments for cancer patients. He is also passionate about offering non-surgical treatment options for musculoskeletal ailments that allow patients to maintain a healthy, physically active lifestyle.
Dr. Vitulli continues to provide care for patients in a hospital setting at St. Vincent’s in Jacksonville, as well as Florida Hospital in Tampa.
